Located on an unspoiled beach in Vourvourou Bay in Sithonia of Halkidiki, Ekies All Senses Resort has become the ultimate destination for those who seek a true “barefoot luxury” experience. The resort knows how to celebrate its Greek roots in a contemporary way, using natural and unrefined materials combined with unique pieces by notable international designers. This season, Ekies All Senses Resort draws inspiration from the area’s rich spiritual history and the nearby Mount Athos, home to 20 monasteries, in orderto design ten brand new suites and five renovated rooms that envelop guests in an aura of mysticism. Alexandra Efstathiadou, the owner of Ekies All Senses Resort, in collaboration with Athens-based Agarch+ Architects and Fytron Landscape Design, has curated a new hospitality experience that incorporates the new monastic trend with a distinct ascetic vibe that focuses on absolute serenity.

The owner of this imposing 19th century villa in West London, had a very specific colour brief - for a strict palette of whites and neutrals, with only the purest of white tones. Rose Uniacke's challenge within this restrained brief was to create a balance that made the spaces feel warm and welcoming whilst keeping a calm white focus which wasn’t too cool or chilly. Rose combined shades of white with carefully chosen neutrals, adding texture, then darker tones to enrich the scheme. The clean lines and shades of white impart a lean modern energy and freshness, providing a neutral context for a sculptural mix of carefully curated contemporary and antique pieces and artworks that balance and enhance the scheme, lending it both strength and warmness. The result is a masterclass in the power of white - a period interior, approached in a fresh and contemporary way.

Studio Morgan gave a trendy modern look to the classic spaces of this apartment, located in a magnificent historic building in Madrid, while the unique atmosphere and the scope of the architecture are perfectly preserved in the updated home. Stucco moldings and wall decor amaze with their artistry, high door and window openings add even more nobility to the interiors.  The furniture and the decoration are mostly modern: there are elements of the Scandinavian style, art deco and touches of Parisian charm.
